I recently had the great fortune to acquire a painting by Lisa McCarty, an artist living in Arlington, VA. Take a look:

Lisa will be opening a solo show next month at the Arlington Art Center where she is a resident artist.

Lisa's artwork is beautiful! I wish that I could be at Arlington to watch her solo show. But who knows? With the power of the internet, more and more artists are putting up their work on virtual studios like www.soiree.net. Maybe we'll all soon see a new medium that will reach wider audiences! Thanks for the great post!
