KMoCA is rapidly expanding and we couldn't be more pleased. Shown below are two new paintings acquired in the past week. Take a look:
Franklin Einspruch
Studio Self-Portrait with Skeleton
Oil on Linen
40" x 32"
2001
Don Voisine
Lucid
Oil on Panel
12" x 12"
2007
Thanks to Franklin and Valerie McKenzie for helping to make these happen.

Nice! I think maybe I looked at that Don Voisine piece myself at McKenzie a little while back-- a good one.

First one good but too realistic for my taste, the other one doesn't tell me a thing, like it shouldn't. Nice and "good" works but nothing special about them? Good isn't enough!

Not sure what Ville is saying. Critiquing the two paintings? Criticizing J.T. for collecting them? Taking me to task for my note of congratulations on getting the Voisine painting? Not sure. Maybe it's a language barrier thing. It seems like he's based in Finland, though, so that's cool.

Hey, I'm overdue on saying how glad I am to be in the collection. Cheers!

I am writing from the far reaches of Northern Maine. It's still quite cold up here. Now that the keyboard has thawed a bit I can let you know I am happy to be a part of the KMoCA collection. Thank you JT.
