This past Thursday was the opening reception for "Once Again, Again: Rhythm and Repetition" at the McLean Project for the Arts. The show was jurored by Annie Gawlak, owner of G Fine Arts in Washington, D.C. Three prizes were awarded at the juror's discretion and they went to:
1. Pat Goslee
2. Jesse Lehson
3. Jose Varela
Here are some photos taken at the opening reception by my lovely fiance, Stacey:
Kay Hwang (drawing) and Mary Early (sculpture)
The variety of works selected by the juror is what makes this show sing, in my opinion. There's painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, installation and even video. In fact, the video work won first and third prize.
If you're able to make it out to McLean, VA, I highly recommend checking out this show. I think it will be worth the drive.

Don't know if you've seen this, but one of these prefab houses going up by the MOMA in NYC reminds me of some of your wood work.

Thanks for the link Crispy. I can't believe someone so blatantly copied the style that I obviously invented. I clearly need to speak with my lawyers about a potential lawsuit.
Kidding.
Seriously... pre-fab houses interest me a great deal so I look forward to checking out the article and hopefully the show.
