Supple Images
As I mentioned previously, Gregory Staley photographed Supple last weekend and provided me with images. I received the CD of high-res images today and here they are for you to see. Some of the images don't do a great job of capturing certain pieces so I have accentuated those with images from the artists.

(L to R, Robin Rose, Linn Meyers, Mary Early)
Here's a better image of the Linn Meyers' piece:

(L to R, two Colby Caldwell pieces, Graham Caldwell, James Huckenpahler)

(L to R, Laurel Lukaszewski, Matt Sargent, Adrian Parsons)

(L to R, Adam Fowler, Graham Caldwell)
Here's a better detail image of Adam Fowler's piece:
Thanks again to all of the artists who participated. The show runs for one more week... closing on May 12.

Where are the OTHER pics? You know, the pics of the THING cut from the artist, stuck to the wall?

It's a very good show. but where can we go to get the full story at what happened at "the Space"? What did they wind up doing there? did they balk at the performance artist? the cost? the liability? signed- Nosey

M. Oile,
See the next to last installation image with Adrian Parsons name listed. It's the tiny thing on the right with the spotlight on it. Don't worry... almost half of the gallery visitors miss it too.
Chris,
I'll dish on my experience with The Space soon. But to answer the questions posed, I don't think they did anything that weekend. At least, the couple of times I went by I didn't see any activity. They did not balk at the performance artist because Adrian had planned to do a video projection on motor oil at the other location. When that was cancelled we didn't have enough time to make the same piece work in the new gallery. So, he told me he had something in his back pocket...
They had donated me the space for the weekend and that played a role in things. More details later. They weren't concerned about liability on their end but artwork insurance did prove to be a minor issue.
Details to come...

I am particulary drawn to the work by Laurel Lukaszewski. At first look it was not so interesting until you showed that closer image in the foreground. Great work.
