Behind the scenes this morning things have been incredible. There's been an outpouring of support from the community. I've had three offers of space to mount the show this week. This afternoon I am driving downtown to meet with one of the spaces to work out logistics. I feel very confident that the show will happen though it likely won't be exactly what I envisioned. At this point, it's not so much about what I envisioned as it is about the artists, the art and the community that has rallied behind this show. I am moved by what I have found in my inbox and the phone calls I have received.
I don't know how far this story will travel but this what makes D.C.'s art community so great. Art-o-Matic has united hundreds of artists at the same time that dozens of people have rallied behind me and my quest to mount Supple. I think we'll be able to pull it off as a result... as a group effort.
I want to again praise the artists involved in the show. I cancelled the show last night and then this morning said it might just happen yet. They haven't blinked at all... they are a dedicated and professional group. I'm proud to work with them.
I will keep everyone posted on these developments. Check back often!
Thanks!

JT -if you are against the wall, we know of a couple other spaces too - give us a call..

I am not involved in what is going on....but I can say that I am very inspired by what I have read here about artist pulling together to help others out of a jam.
Things have a way of working out.

You reap what you sow... this may turn out to be a terrific show and a huge learning experience for all involved, especially in the sense of community which is so strong in DC and so ignored by the media and most of us.
