Dan Steinhilber Review on DCist

DCist published my review of the Dan Steinhilber show at Numark Gallery. It's a fun show and I recommend you definitely go see it!

Note: The image the editors used at top is of a piece (inflated trash bags) not in the show. I've recommended the use of a different image - something in the show - but we'll see if it gets used. The other two images that I directly refer to in the text are in the show.

Dan Steinhilber's is a fantastic young artist. His current work at the Hirshhorn Museum using paper clad hangers is so sweeping, like a flock of seagulls in perpetual suspended animation. Really beautiful to the eye and whimsical all at the same time. Bravo
